We will be hosting a casual party at a beautiful regional park close to our hotel blocks to get the weekend started. We will be providing pizza, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. This will be a space for wedding guests to get to know each other, and for us to welcome everyone to Colorado.

Venue Information
We can't wait for you to join us at beautiful La Foret in Black Forest, Colorado, just a 5 minute drive from where Taylor grew up. Black Forest is a special place for us as we have traveled here every year since we started dating in 2013. We hope you enjoy this retreat in nature as much as we do.

Parking
There will be plenty of parking for the ceremony and reception at Inglis Hall. The exact location is marked on the map above. Once you park there will be a short walk to the ceremony location. There will be signs directing you to the ceremony spot.
Hotels
These are our group rate hotel blocks. They were chosen for their proximity to the wedding venue and welcome party, as well as their great views of Pikes Peak. You should be able to reach the wedding venue and welcome party location within a 15 minute drive.
We encourage you to look at hotels closer to downtown Colorado Springs if you are renting a car, staying longer, and would like to be closer to the major tourist attractions.
Staying longer? You can book nights outside the listed dates at these hotels — the group rate just won't apply to the extra nights.

Travel Tips
Here are our recommendations for your trip to Colorado Springs if you are visiting from out of town.
Fly into Colorado Springs (COS)
Colorado Springs Airport is about 30 minutes from La Foret and the Hotel blocks. It's a small, easy airport with direct flights from many major cities. Denver International (DEN) is also an option — it's about 90 minutes south on I-25.
Rent a car (recommended)
Colorado Springs has limited public transit. A rental car gives you the ability to explore all that Colorado Springs has to offer — Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and more are all within easy reach. Our hotel blocks are a quick 15-minute drive to the venue and welcome party. If you're staying longer, you'll want a car.
Beyond the traditional rental companies, it's worth checking Turo — it's like Uber for car rentals, where you book directly from local car owners, and it's often cheaper than the big rental agencies.
Rideshare is possible, but limiting
It's feasible to get to the wedding events without a car using Uber and Lyft. That said, wait times can be unpredictable in Black Forest, and you'll find it harder to do other sightseeing. If you're only in town for the weekend and plan on just going to the wedding events, rideshare will work fine.
Getting to the venue
We are still looking into whether we will be able to provide a shuttle. Please plan on taking an Uber or Lyft or driving yourself. We will send out an email letting you know if we end up finding an option.

Our favorite restaurant to frequent when we're in town — amazing atmosphere, great drinks, and great food. It does get busy, so make a reservation!
Adams Mountain Café

Our favorite breakfast and lunch spot when we visit — a charming log-cabin atmosphere and great food. Taylor's pick is the Harvest Crepes; Allyson's is the Cashew Chicken Salad.
Rasta Pasta
Downtown Colorado Springs
A fusion of Jamaican and Italian cuisine, and a great casual lunch or dinner spot. Allyson's favorite is the Chicken Montego Bay.
Atmosphere
Near the hotel block
A great gastropub we frequent, with excellent beer and food. Allyson's favorite is the Truffle Fries.
Phantom Canyon Brewing Company

A nice local brewery in the heart of downtown. Taylor's favorite is the gouda cheese soup.

A converted middle school that's now a food hall with amazing drinks and good food — lots of options and plenty of space to sit, so it's great for big groups. Our favorite spot inside is the Principal's Office.

A little pricier dining experience in a quaint log-cabin restaurant, heavy on meat and seafood. Taylor's favorite is the Cheese Wheel pasta (only available on Thursdays).
